How to Reach

  • By Air: Pakyong Airport (near Gangtok) is the closest. Alternatively, fly to Bagdogra and take a taxi (approx. 125 km to Gangtok).
  • By Road: Sikkim is well connected by road to Siliguri and Darjeeling. Shared cabs and private taxis are available.
  • By Train: NJP is the nearest railway station. From here, take a cab to Gangtok.

 

Best Time to Visit

  • Spring & Summer (March–June): Ideal for sightseeing, trekking, and cultural tours. Temperatures range from 11°C to 22°C.
  • Autumn (September–November): Clear skies and pleasant weather.
  • Winter (December–February): Snowfall in higher regions like Lachung and Zero Point; temperatures may fall below 0°C.
